Worum es bei uns geht

Started in 2014, this Blockchain Sydney meetup for professionals is a forum to discuss emergent technologies. Whether you're new or have an existing interest, Sydney Blockchain Professionals will help you navigate this new ecosystem with technical and business focus talks, as well as introduce you to this vast network of cutting edge entrepreneurs. This meetup is NOT about tokens and how to profit from crypto.

To sponsor this meetup, please send a private message to one of the organisers. Sponsors presentations are always welcome (with prior planning).

**When we don't have sponsors we charge a $5 fee to cover pizza. If you are a student or can't afford the attendance fee, please contact the organiser and the fee will be waived for you.

You can RSVP here, but must also register at https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/cross-border-trade-provenance-and-fintech-blockchain-solutions-seminar-tickets-73527154699 ********************** This is a seminar between a Guangdong delegation and interested NSW parties, regarding the provenance of Australian SME exports to China. About this Event China remains one of Australian SMEs’ largest growth opportunities. Despite the recent US-China trade war, product exports from Australia to China have grown and increasingly more Australian products are hitting the shelves in China. For instance in the 2017/2018 year agricultural exports to China, alone grew by A$1.8B. However, as a small or medium-sized exporter from Australia, it’s difficult to start but even more challenging to maintain product provenance. For instance: How does a lobster leaving Sydney double its weight before arriving at a restaurant in Shanghai? How can be more bottles of an exclusive Australian wine be sold in China than are actually produced in Australia? In this seminar, we will be exploring innovation in trade, financing and provenance that support SMEs export more products and retain product provenance in China.
