Über uns
This meetup is meant for anybody interested (hands-on experience would be great) in artificial intelligence. To be specific, our intention is to have fairly technical discussions regarding latest trends in artificial intelligence, with a clear focus on deep learning technologies.
We want to position this meetup as a link between research and industry: Focusing both on novel methods published at high ranked conferences like NIPS or CVPR, following on key researchers like Hinton, Bengio, Schmidhuber, Ng, LeCun, Goodfellow, etc. as well as on interesting new applications in the startup and industry world. We will also have a look at latest software frameworks for deep learning and how they compare and perform.
We will organize a Meetup in Braunschweig every 6 to 8 weeks, and we hope to invite 1-2 speakers, who give a talk on the respective topics - at least this is the plan for now.
We are always looking for interesting talks and events. If you have a topic that you want to talk about, please let us know. Any suggestions, proposals or comments are highly appreciated!
