Bio: Peter Pedross has over 30 years' experience in software engineering, working in all possible IT positions, including programmer, tester, process engineer, project manager, metrics engineer, software architect and head of development in an agile company. While working at a leading Swiss financial institute as the architect of the process framework, was responsible for the entire set of lifecycles, processes, methods and tools used. This framework was then employed by hundreds of projects around the world and continually improved. He is currently CEO and Founder of PEDCO-Managed Process Services. Has been involved in Agile endeavors for over 2 decades, is a Certified Consultant in "Scaled Agile Framework" and in "Disciplined Agile Delivery", and has a Diploma in Quality Management from EFQA. He is also President of the Board for computer science at the Swiss Association of Quality (SAQ) and head of the Process Management Group and member of the board of directors at SAQ.

Peter is an accomplished speaker in the fields of architecture, process management, agile, metrics and requirements engineering, in the USA, Europe and Japan. Selected presentations include:

Description: Building cyber-physical systems is a complex endeavor and becoming increasingly software reliant. This has resulted in a growing demand for best practices to address conceptual and process incompatibilities between systems and software. The Scaled Agile Framework (SAFeTM) 4.0 bridges that gap in a way that is more modular, scalable, and adaptable than prior versions. In addition, when developing high assurance systems, we are faced with unacceptable social or economic cost of failure. Most high assurance systems are subject to regulatory or industry compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, FDA CPT 11, IEC 62 304, Automotive Spice, etc. Join us to discuss mappings and compliance to specific reference models and how your own company specific references models can be achieved In the face of such internal, external and regulatory requirements. You'll also learn how to combine Agility, Efficiency and Compliance to regulatory requirements within organizational processes and even within your tailored instances of Portfolio, Value Stream, Program and Team and how Applied SAFe provides the tools and support to achieve enterprise goals, while enabling you to remain compliant.
