Alles ansehen- Stand-Up Comedy with Rufat Agayev (USA)Comedy Club Haug, Rotterdam
Rufat Agayev is a Brooklyn-based stand-up comedian, writer, and actor.
Rufat immigrated with his family from Azerbaijan to the United States as a refugee of war in the early ‘90s. He quickly fell in love with hip-hop and started rapping as a teen. While attending Florida State University, he released music and opened up for big-name artists like Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, and Mac Miller.
After moving to New York City to further his music career, he wanted to try stand-up. Unsure where to start, he asked his friend from college, Kevin Barnett, a writer on Broad City, what to do. Barnett gave Rufat the link to a website run by a Russian guy that listed open mics in the city, and he's been at it ever since.
Rufat is now a staple in the New York City comedy scene. He's a featured writer in the Harper Collins published book Alien Nation, host of Joe Pera’s favorite show in NYC - Scorpion Records Comedy Night, appeared on The Adam Friedland Show and Stavvy’s World, and has a taped set with Don’t Tell Comedy.🎟️ Tickets: Rufat Agayev

How To Embarrass Your Immigrant Parents
A storytelling experience that explores a pertinent universal theme: wanting to understand your parents but struggling to see eye-to-eye.
Abby takes the viewer on an intimate, hilarious, soul-bearing journey about her struggles with mental health, fitting in, and finding common ground with the ones you love even after they’ve hurt you. Most importantly, it is a love letter to Abby’s **Indian heritage** and her wonderful parents, without whom none of this would be possible. No gimmicky Indian accents, guaranteed.“I can’t wait to see what’s next for this new voice of a generation.”

Someone In This Crowd Will Betray MeI've got a terrible feeling about this show. Like somehow the whole thing is doomed. I have this recurring dream where I'm on stage, thousands of miles from home and the crowd has turned on me. There are thousands of them and they are all booing me and Sofia Vergara (from Modern Family) is there and so is Simon Cowell and he’s slamming his fist into a red buzzer and the sound splits the air like a gunshot and the ceiling rips open and confetti rains down like debris but the booing only gets louder and louder and louder and louder and then I wake up, and realise that all of that actually happened to me.
This show has nothing to do with that story. I doubt I'll even mention it.

'When it was evening, he reclined at table with the twelve. And as they were eating, he said, “Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me.” And they were very sorrowful and began to say to him one after another, “Is it I, Lord?”'
