TALKS & SPEAKERS:
Talk 1: "A Self-Driving Sales Department: Automatic Case Assignment with Machine Learning" by Rainer Bomblies
A good match between customer and financial consultant benefits both parties and can have a big impact on sales success. At Interhyp we developed and implemented a service that - learning from previous cases - decides instantaneously, which business unit and advisor are the best fit for new customers. The new workflow enabled advisors to adjust the workload to their needs, halved the time to first contact, and improved customer satisfaction and thus conversion by 10%.
Rainer Bomblies is a senior data scientist and founding member of the data science team at Interhyp.
A free interpretation of physics took him from the study of neural networks and psychology to the statistics of language acquisition and biochemical simulations, and from his alma mater, the LMU Munich, to the universities of Padua and Edinburgh and to the TUM for his PhD.
In his first four years with the Interhyp data science team, they got multiple services into production. Interhyp now benefits from value generated by machine learning, be it predictions about sales success or document classifications. In addition, the team established a data-driven decision-making process throughout the company that triggered fundamental changes to the sales process.

Talk 2: "Next Micro-Frontend Revolution: Module Federation" by Riccardo Carano
It is well known that monolithic applications are difficult to maintain. This is why microservices are getting more popular in frontends: small applications that together result in a larger whole without being dependent on one another. However, implementing such software has been difficult, because of good mechanisms to integrate them, until now.
Riccardo Carano is a passionate senior engineer at Interhyp. After his apprenticeship as IT specialist, he worked in several successful companies.
In his current rule at Interhyp he makes a significant contribution to ensuring that the customer and professional portal is a success and that the migration to the real module federated platform works. His heart beats faster at TypeScript.
