Crafting Solutions with the Elastic Stack: pragmatic takes and lessons learned

Have you ever struggled to find your application logs in Kibana, or keeping your Elasticsearch cluster and relational database in sync? Have you ever felt frustrated by the limitations of the Amazon Elasticsearch Service, or wrestled with Kibana to create business-friendly interactive dashboards? In this talk, Guido will present real-world case studies like the ones above, inspired from recent projects at kreuzwerker - the IT consultancy and software development company he's working for. He will discuss best practices, trade-offs, and lessons learned (the hard way) when building solutions based on the Elastic stack.

In this presentation I will show you how you could use the Elastic Stack to find your next Elastisearch job. We will use Logstash to gather data from the Indeed API, parse and enrich it with geo location data. I will show you how you could visualize the data and create a dashboard with Kibana.
