Meetup: Gnosis Protocol launch w/ CEO Martin Köppelmann Synthetix Kain Warwick

Join co-founder and CEO Martin Köppelmann announcing the launch of the Gnosis Protocol, which has been in research and development over the course of the last two years to bring more liquid matching engines to Ethereum. Gnosis Protocol is a fully permissionless DEX that enables ring trades to maximize liquidity. Ring trades are order settlements which share liquidity across all orders, rather than a single token pair, enabling trades for illiquid or long tail tokens that would normally not be possible using a traditional order book. Join and learn how Gnosis Protocol is uniquely suited for trading prediction market tokens and all tokenized assets—growing exponentially in number with the rise of open finance.

Gnosis was founded in 2015 by Martin Köppelmann and Stefan George as part of ConsenSys, the globally leading Ethereum venture production studio. In April 2017, Gnosis raised funds and spun out of ConsenSys to become an independent company. Now more than 50 employees, Gnosis is based in Gibraltar, with team members globally and a main development hub in Berlin at the Full Node co-working space.

Synthetix is an issuance and trading protocol for synthetic assets, providing on-chain exposure to real-world currencies and commodities. Its native trading platform, Synthetix.Exchange, offers peer-to-contract (P2C) trading, which allows users to convert one synthetic asset into another using decentralised price feeds provided by Chainlink node operators. Synthetix experienced a huge year in 2019, seeing nearly $1 billion in trading on its exchange and over $100m in locked collateral value.
