A social group, the Hash House Harriers are international but mainly English-speaking. We run or walk following a trail set by one of the group (the "hare"). It is like "hare & hounds" or a paper chase. Drinking beer is a frequent occurrance though not obligatory. The Fribourg group meets every 3rd Sunday of the month at 14:00. Cost is chf 6 (to cover cost of drinks and snacks).
There is generally a trail for runners & one for walkers.  Runner's trail is 8-12km and walker's 5-6km.  Usually with a beer stop near the end.  Part of the Hash experience is to join us for dinner in a local restaurant.  For more information, contact the MeetUp organizers (BDR or HummingBird).
Since November 2019 we have also started running on alternate Tuesday evenings at 7pm.
