Game Makers Guild

Come play board games! We want to bring together board game enthusiasts with board game designers! Bring your favorite board games whether they're old, new, or soon to be new. Play games, or give feedback on unpublished ones!

This event is hosted by the Boston Game Makers Guild, but everyone is welcome to attend.

Fellow board gamer Hien was kind enough to offer the Game Makers Guild this amazing venue to open up as a board game night for all! The venue is walkable from the Green, Blue, and Orange Lines. There is also meter parking on Bowdoin Street. Food and drink are allowed inside, but absolutely no alcohol or smoking anywhere on the premises.

NOTE: IF YOU ARE SIGNING UP AS A DESIGNER, YOU MUST RSVP BY SUNDAY EVENING THE DAY PRIOR SO THAT WE CAN SET UP THE SPREADSHEET AHEAD OF TIME.

How this will work:

1. Respond in your RSVP with your game, game info, platform. and 2-3 sentences about your game. Remember, if you're bringing a game, respond 2 days early.
2. A few minutes before 7:30, we'll split up the RSVP into groups.
3. At 7:30, go to the "General Chat" in the Discord server (https://discord.gg/ewwU563). We'll split last-minute people up there.
4. Players will break up into the appropriate voice channels and join the necessary games and then play!

NOTE: Virtual playtesting is relatively new to us, so please be patient as we work out the kinks. Also note that we're not sure how things are going to work with numbers of designers and playtesters. If we don't have enough playtesters, we'll play games this on a first-come, first-served basis according to when you RSVP'd.
