Über uns

The gpti was founded in 2016 and has since become the largest entrepreneurial network for technology and innovation in the real estate industry across the DACH region. By the end of 2026, gpti will have grown to more than 200 members.
The association aims to connect digital entrepreneurs within the industry and to offer a central point of reference for those interested in the PropTech ecosystem.
As an independent platform, gpti brings PropTech founders together and provides its members with a structured forum for dialogue with established real estate companies as well as investors.
The gpti, formerly known as the German PropTech Initiative, is almost as old as the PropTech scene in Germany itself. As early as 2016, the entrepreneurs Alexander Ubach-Utermöhl (blackprintpartners), Carl-Friedrich von Stechow (Zinsland), Dr. Emilio Matthaei (Leverton), Nico Jacobi (Immomio), Paul Indinger (building radar), and Stefan Zanetti (Allthings) shared the idea of creating a network for digital entrepreneurs in the real estate sector.
The early days were shaped by a clear insight. These six founders recognized the need to bring PropTech entrepreneurs together to address shared challenges collectively. Unlike the established real estate industry, many founders did not know one another and therefore had little insight into how their peers or competitors were progressing.
The development of the past five years and the growth to more than 150 entrepreneurs demonstrate one thing clearly. Networks are essential within the PropTech ecosystem. They do not only support individual founders but also contribute to the digital transformation of the entire industry. Together, not against one another.
