Let's Kotlin remotely!
Details
We're back, and we are back remotely! 💻🏡
For this meetup we're going to try our first experiment of remote Meetup. 💪
We will present two talks about two different topics presented by Roque Buarque (SHARE NOW) and Nicola Corti (Spotify).
Link for the meetup event will be shared the day before. We are gonna use Google Meet, unfortunately we might have a limited capacity of attendees, so make sure to accept the RSVP in order to not miss the chance to follow this meetup.
🎉 Title: "There is 1 broken API among us":
As a library user, you probably know that versions don't always tell the truth. Have you ever experienced a broken build after doing a minor bump of a library?
As a library author, maintaining a clean API is a challenge. There is always the risk that a breaking change sneaks in by accident.
Wouldn't it be nice to get notified if you're accidentally breaking your users' code? A tool to inspect the binary API of your Kotlin/Java code can help you exactly with that. In this talk, we will see some of those tools and how that simplifies the life of library & SDK developers.

🎉 Title: "Kotlin DSL"
Kotlin is a very powerful language which contains a lot of features that allow us to create DSL. In this talk I will show how to build a Kotlin DSL, some relevant kotlin features and commons examples of DSL.
🤖The Speaker: Roque Buarque
I'm Android Engineer with 5y+ experience, already worked in several programming areas, which I believe that helped me to grow as developer. The beginning of my career I started with Java Desktop using swing, also Java Web using JSP, HTML and CSS. At the end of 2015 I started to work with Android, since then I've worked in different products like, fintechs, smart house and car sharing. I'm passionate about write clean code, testable architecture and beautiful UI. I believe that the knowledge you share is the knowledge you maintain, that's why today I'm dedicating more time to write articles, prepare and give talks for the Android community.
Looking forward to see you soon!
