6th #MLDD - Computer vision at the shop floor

Dear Community,

we know it has been pretty quiet around #MLDD for the past couple of months but we weren't just sitting back. In fact, we were busy cooking up our next meetup which we announce today as an early Christmas present: On January, 29th 2019 Thomas Kammerlocher (Smart Production Lab, Volkswagen AG) and Marco Fischer (SDC Production, Volkswagen AG) will talk about Volkswagen’s endeavor in integrating ANN-based computer vision into their production and logistics processes.

As always, LOVOO offers their kitchen and catering for this event. Big shout out to LOVOO for being such a generous and reliable host for this meetup!

There will also be time for your 2 minute pitches after the talk: If you have an idea for a new project, are looking for a master’s thesis, or have the best startup idea ever but not the team or the customers (yet) – this is your opportunity to present it to an expert audience and get feedback right away, for free.

If you don’t feel like talking in front of a big group of people – just put your ideas on a poster and let us know in advance (via email) so we can organize a proper poster session.
