About Alexander Meier:
Alex is working as GenAI Data Engineer at Die Mobiliar. He has a lot of experience in data analysis, Apache Kafka & Big Data (Hadoop, Spark, Hive,...). His background includes also working in the fields of Business Analysis, Requirements Management & Requirements Engineering and
System & Software Engineering.Alex will speak about the AI strategy of Die Mobiliar, why and when to use gen-ai and some examples and use cases.

About Sigve Haug:
Studies of electrotechnics and physics in Germany and Spain with graduation in experimental particle physics on the KARMEN neutrino experiment in England. Doctorate from University of Oslo on the CERN experiment DELPHI. Short period as associate professor at the University of Oslo for Applied Sciences teaching physics and mathematics. Postdoctoral position at the University of Oslo working on data management for the CERN experiment ATLAS and the NorduGrid collaboration. From 2006 to 2017 at the Albert Einstein Center for Fundamental Physics at the University of Bern, Switzerland. Currently (2023) director of the Data Science Lab at the University of Bern.Sigve will speak about what AI does in the field of research, also in the context of University of Bern.
