Dear all,
I would like to introduce myself and my international Meetup group “Meeting new friends in Zug”.
My name is Sandra, I’m 25 and an original Swiss and Zuger girl loving cross-cultural encounters and helping non-Swiss and/or non-Zuger folks to discover my home country and canton.
On September 9, 2021, I proudly celebrated the 4. birthday of my Meetup group “Meeting new friends in Zug”. During the past months, I had the pleasure to organise meetups for over 2100 members coming from around the world and representing a full diversity of cultures, ages, beliefs and lifestyles.
We have been meeting for after work conversations and laughs, for bicycle rides, walks around the canton Zug, badminton, concerts, art exhibitions, Swiss fondues, ice skating, and and and.
On a weekly basis, I transform myself into a (Swiss)-German teacher helping my Meetup friends to catch at least a few new words while we play and have fun crossing cultural boarders and making new friends.
As I’m absolutely open to my members’ ideas for joint activities, the agenda of the group is fully flexible and aligned with wishes and interests of its members.
