How do you travel in Africa? Although I am a experienced traveller, I didn't dare to do it on my own... Instead I chose a Overland Company and travelled with up to 20 fellow travellers in a truck from Kenia to South Africa. No better way to experience this wonderful continent with amazing landscapes, nature, wildlife and impressive people.

Over-tourism: the example of Hallstatt (and Copy-Hallstatt)
Is tourism a curse or a blessing? Or maybe both? Top destinations like
Venice, Barcelona or Dubrovnik have a lot of time and opportunity to
reflect that. Another hugely popular destination is Hallstatt in Austria.
So how does it feel to be a tourist among a swarm of (mostly Asian)
tourists? How do the locals try to cope with the tourist hordes? And last
but not least: is there really a Hallstatt copy existing in China?

East Indonesia Series - Maluku Selatan, Raja Ampat and West Papua, Part 1
It was kind of a love-hate: after having been to Indonesia many times before, I knew the country's east would be far less developed than its central parts, be much more expensive, require even more time to explore, but also promised a lot of unique and exciting sights and experiences.
Let me show you what I saw and learned in the 12 weeks that I travelled the region.
