What is PR exactly? Why is it important? How do I use it for promotion of my music or project? PR expert Lara Kempbell (Manager, ArtistAngel PR) will dive into the world of PR with us and explain how to get started using PR for your project.
She will go over tips and tricks on making sure your presentation of your project is aligned to what you want to share with the world, figuring out who your target audience is, effective use of social media and journalists, and how to put together a good PR team, and other first PR steps every musician can start applying right away.
Our schedule goes as follows:
7pm - free pizza, networking time
8pm - presentation begins
8:45/9pm - presentation ends, short break
9/9:15pm - prize drawing
9:30pm - event ends, networking time
We do our very best to stay on time! Also the pizza is usually gone within 20 minutes of its arrival ;)
