Awareness for our health, the environment, supply sustainability is constantly growing and food is at the heart of this trend: From In-Vitro Meat and other meat alternatives, considerably reducing carbon emissions in comparison to the traditional meat industry, over ecological brands, like OU, avoiding packaging altogether to Hydroponics and Urban Farming. People want to eat more local, more seasonal, more healthy and more ethical and companies have to adapt.
How can tech solutions enable us to eat in a sustainable and healthy way?
Through digital technology it is possible to give consumers more control over what they can buy and open new perspectives on food consumption and new ways towards an alternative lifestyle.
At our Meetup we will give you an insight into examples that are changing the future of food and hopefully have a lively discussion around the Future of Food.

He has been working in the business for over a decade. The agricultural scientist is well experienced in event management and marketing. Winning the German Online Communication Award (2016) confirmed his ability to think outside the box in a rather conservative field. More about Farm & Food 4.0: https://www.farm-and-food.com/
Johanna Kühner, PR at SuperCoop Berlin.
With SuperCoop we want to build a cooperative supermarket in Berlin to make sustainable food affordable for everyone! The model is based on the successful concept of the New York Park Slope Food Coop with its 17,000 members. Each member is a shareholder, works 3h/month and can democratically shape the supermarket. All profits are reinvested and the margin is low and transparent. Please find more information on our website, where you can subscribe to our newsletter. More about SuperCoop: http://supercoop.de/
