Noris Toastmasters is a public speaking club that is part of Toastmasters International, a worldwide non-profit organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills.
Why you should join:
Noris Toastmasters is a great place to practice public speaking in a friendly atmosphere. Beginners can conquer their public speaking nerves in a low-stakes setting; advanced speakers can try out new things, and we have a lot of fun in the process.
A Toastmasters meeting is a 'learn-by-doing' workshop in which members perfect their speaking and leadership skills in a non-pressure atmosphere, as well as a safe and constructive environment. There is no instructor in a meeting. Instead members evaluate one another's presentations and this feedback process is a key part of the program's success. Meetings are held in English. Our members are a mix of expats and Germans, native and non-native English speakers.
Regular meetings: every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month at 6.45 pm (meeting starts at 7.00 pm).
Come and visit us! On top of the Meetup guests we have an average of about 8 experienced members joining on each meeting. Guests are also welcome to join us for a snack and a drink after the meeting.

Our club is a safe place to practice speaking in front of an audience where you can step outside your comfort zone and grow, surrounded by people who want to help you succeed.
Our meetings are hands-on workshops where you get to practice in a friendly, no-pressure environment. There’s no instructor—we learn from each other by giving helpful feedback and celebrating every little win together. We meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 19:00 to 21:00 at the "Balkon über der Pegnitz" which is located in the Kontumazgarten (only for the summer holidays).What can you expect?

Plus, we always have experienced members on hand to guide and support you.After the meeting, we usually hang out for snacks and drinks.
