Goodbye Azure Information Protection and welcome Microsoft Information Protection

Microsoft announced the deprecation of label management in Azure portal and the end of support for AIP classic client. What does it mean for you? How can a migration be done without interrupting your business? And what happens with all the protected content after classic AIP reaches its end of live?

All these questions are answered in this session.

In addition, Microsoft released a bunch of new Information Protection features like:

•Auto-labeling for SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Exchange Online
•Labels for Office files in SharePoint and OneDrive
•Use sensitivity labels with Microsoft Teams, Office 365 Groups and SharePoint
•Governance feature “know your data”

The session will cover hands on examples about basic setup, Information Protection scanner, Office integration and a best practices approach to start your information protection project.

Er arbeitete viele Jahre in Microsoft Enterprise Umgebungen sowie als Trainer und Berater für SharePoint, Office 365 und Azure. Nicki Borell ist Autor des bekannten und ständig aktualisierten "GDPR Field Guide for Office 365 and Azure". Seine Expertise erstreckt sich von der technischen und strategischen Beratung bis hin zum Projektmanagement. Seine Fokusthemen sind Enterprise Collaboration, Security und Compliance in Azure und Office 365. Nicki ist Microsoft Regional Director, MVP für Office Apps & Services und professionelles Mitglied des German Speaker Association e.V.
