# Navigate the AI hype successfully: Four essential questions that product owners and managers should ask themselves
ChatGPT is on everyone's lips and not a day goes by without a new AI tool being launched. Social networks are overflowing with posts about "Look what great things I've done with Midjourney or Bard or Dall-E again!" or "Here's my latest prompt engineering guide for AI tool xy..."
You ask yourself: "So what? What does all this have to do with me, my product and my company? It's great that I can use generative AI like ChatGPT as an idea generator to come up with an agenda for a workshop or to formulate a text from key points. But how am I supposed to use this seriously and profitably at our company and as part of my product? The protection of our data is sacred to us. As long as the answers are not explainable or comprehensible, we cannot trust them. Totally unrealistic in the legal, healthcare and financial sectors or anywhere else."We think it's time to explore AI for product owners and product managers in an understandable and practical way. Our Meetup (in english) opens the door to exciting possibilities. Don't expect exaggerated promises, but realistic insights that will help you understand the value of AI for your work as a product owner.
That's what this event is about:
- What exactly is AI (other than ChatGPT) and how does it work?
- How can AI help me? What problems can I solve with AI, what added value can I generate for my product?
- What are the limitations of AI (bias, lack of robustness, lack of transparency and hallucinations, data protection) and how can I overcome them?

Speaker:
Christoph Mair is an independent lean-agile coach and "AI whisperer". He has been working with clients for more than 15 years to guide them through change processes. His focus is on agile scaling, business agility and the development of agile organizations. He has been able to accompany the successful implementation of numerous large and very large IT initiatives (up to 600 employees).
He is convinced that AI will significantly change the way we work as knowledge workers. It is essential for companies to engage with this technology in order to remain successful and competitive. Agility can (again) be a means to an end to achieve this.Andreas Kahler is a passionate freelance software developer with over 20 years of experience in the industry. His projects are diverse, ranging from the development of user interfaces to the programming of complex algorithms. He has worked in a wide variety of environments, from dynamic start-ups to larger companies. Andreas has acted as a software architect and project manager as well as a pragmatic software developer. He is particularly interested in the topic of AI. During his studies, he already dealt with neural networks and today he is attracted by the new possibilities for interesting innovations in this exciting field.
