Worum es bei uns geht

See German version below - NEW FOCUS TOPIC: Sustainability and how IoT solution can help to ...

This group is for anyone interested in exchange about Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things (IoT) related topics. We have presentations from four pillars (technology enablers, how to earn money / business, sector/industry deep dives and community, which include topics like security, leadership 4.0, etc). We're sharing best practices and discuss use cases, ideas and challenges.

In addition, this year we (as independent non-profit community) have a NEW FOCUS TOPIC:

Sustainability and how IoT solution can help to reach sustainable development goals.

Therefore new hashtags are:

#Sustainability

#Climate Change Solutions

#circular economy

Title: Trust matters – how machinery rental benefits from decentralized industry ecosystems

Short description:
Future business means comprehensive service offerings instead of single products. Be able to cooperate efficient and trustful will be the most important success factor. Digital cooperation will take place at central platforms or within trust ecosystems where companies keep their digital sovereignty and cooperate at eye level. Fabian shows how to solve the challenges in building suche trust ecosystems on the example of de:rental an industry initiative of machinery rental companies.

Speaker: Thomas Müller, CEO, evan GmbH, https://www.evan.network

Target Audience: SME companies in the mechanical engineering and rental sector

---------- Presentation 2 ----------
Title: Collaborative Data Analytics in Manufacturing

Short description:
How can we enable advanced analytics without giving up data privacy? How can we train algorithms with only small data sets? How can we create value through cross-company collaboration? We’ll discuss benefits and challenges in manufacturing using the example of automated quality control and collaborative predictive maintenance - we appreciate your input!

Speaker: Rebecca Miller, Founder INSAITS (www.insaits.net), currently being incubated at Tech VC Antler (https://www.antler.co)
