As software developers we live in interesting (or frightening) times. There are so many programming languages out there, so many frameworks, libraries, technologies, and architectural styles to choose from. At least to me it seems that the more I learn, the more I know that I know nothing!
I hope that in this meetup software developers and architects share their knowledge and experience of how to model, build, and run software. What are the benefits and problems of micro-service architectures or Domain-Driven Design? Has anyone ever really used Event Sourcing or CQRS? How do you do persistence? How do you install, run, and configure your software? How do you realize (centralized) logging? How monitoring? How do you get a "Reactive System" and how do you achieve an architecture that makes testing the software easy?
Maybe many of these new trends in software engineering are nothing more than hype. I am looking forward to our discussions!
