Not yet a unicorn, but...: Next Meeting with Philipp Schröder from sonnen GmbH

It is my pleasure to announce a new meetup to be held on Tuesday, 10 May at 7 pm at gtec - same time, same place!

Philipp Schröder, Managing Director / Chief of global Sales & Marketing at sonnen GmbH will be our guest. Philipp is responsible for expanding sonnen's sales and marketing operations globally by building and leading outstanding, customer and growth oriented team's within Europe and abroad working on a clean and affordable energy future for all.

After graduating from university, Philipp Schröder founded a consulting company for renewable energy. From 2011 to 2012 he had a managing position in the photovoltaics division of Juwi, a nationwide project developer for renewable energy. In 2012 he became head of sales and business development of sonnen GmbH, market leader for smart lithium storage systems in Germany. In 2014 he left sonnen, becoming Country Director Germany of Tesla, where he vastly increased sales and presence of Tesla. In the end of 2015 he returned to sonnen where he became Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.

Clean, affordable energy for all is one of the greatest challenges of our time. Headquartered in the German energy village of Wildpoldsried, sonnen GmbH wants to enable all people to determine their own energy future. That means, among other things, the inexpensive production and storage of renewable energy and the intelligent networking of producers and consumers. sonnen thereby gives people around the world the opportunity to become independent of fossil fuels and conventional energy suppliers. We will have the opportunity to have a closer look on how they are trying to achieve theses goals and what would that mean to a successfull energy revolution in Germany and beyond.
