TW hosts: Mindfulness for the (aspiring) agilist with Markus Wittwer
Details
# Description
Most of us experience a lot of change in these times. Changes in how we
organize our work and what our product or service is. And for some of
us, this gets combined with fears around their economic future, their
own health and the health of their loved ones.
So in a certain way, this is like Agile in extreme. A lot of change,
some of it is out of our control and we still want to act smartly in the
midst of uncertainty.
This is exactly a situation where a science-based modern mindfulness
practice really helps. Mindfulness can support you to stay grounded and
calm and to act from a place of concentration and clarity. It will help
you personally and as a consequence your organization.
During the hour we spend together I will talk about what modern
mindfulness is and why it is especially supportive in New Work / Agile
environments. But most important we will practice together: I will guide
you through a meditation that is designed to help with facing
uncertainty and (unwanted) change.
# Tips for attending
To get the most out of this session, make a choice to be fully present
for the full hour. The session is interactive and we will meditate
together, so it is not really suitable to listening in while you answer
some emails.
If you are comfortable with it, turn on your video, it helps to connect
us more as a community of learners.
I'm looking forward to meeting all of you!
