Microsoft Seestrasse is hosting the Meetup:
Type Safe Bindings with TypeScript for Polyglot (by Hamlet from Microsoft)
He will talk about how they generated type safe bindings with TypeScript for all their Polyglot translations.
(Hamlet is a software engineer at Microsoft and uses TypeScript. He is using TypeScript since Version 1.0.1 and was therefore a pioneer. Hamlet is also the author of the book “Groovy in Action”, a popular title on Manning, and the primary maintainer of `tslint-microsoft-contrib`)
What's new in TypeScript (by Loïc from Microsoft)
A summary of all new features of the last releases of TypeScript.
(Loïc is a software engineer at Microsoft)
Interfaces vs. Types vs. Classes (by Simon from Renuo)
We have various ways to reach type safety. This talk will get you some insight about when to prefer which way in typing.
(Simon is a software engineer at Renuo and Co-Organizer of the TypeScript-Meetup)
Important: We are still looking for more presentations. It would be cool, if you could tell something about your current work with TS.
Come thirsty and bring a bathing suit! We're right next to Rote Fabrik in Wollishofen
