Our Computer Vision Meetup group is all about sharing your experience! We love image pre-processing, OCR, feature detection, opencv, cutting edge technology and so on!
We are just starting to host meetups at the awesome new office space “Die Manege” in Vienna’s 2nd district in November.
We’ll have little hackathons, short presentations and definitely lots of beer, pizza and time to mingle and talk about your favourite language, platform or framework!
Do you have ideas, suggestions or want to do a talk? Please reach out and let us know! Also - whether you’ve just started to dip into the fascinating Computer Vision world, or are a seasoned computer vision expert, stop by!
Join us for our next Computer Vision Meet-up! In May we will still meet via zoom, however we hope to meet in-person for July meeting if guidelines allow us.
Title: Machine Learning from Large-Scale Routine Medical Imaging Data Presenter: Johannes Hofmanninger Summary: Real-world medical imaging data acquired in the daily clinical routine is highly abundant. A means to generate novel hypotheses based on this vast body of evidence would enable us to expand our vocabulary of markers and disease subtypes. In this talk, I will discuss data-driven computer-vision and machine-learning techniques for the automated processing and analysis of large scale medical imaging datasets. Specifically, I will show how unsupervised machine-learning can identify clinically relevant patterns and patient subtypes in thousands of routinely acquired chest CT scans.
