In this session, Elizabeth Baran will give an overview on Algorand and talk about newest features and tools that are available for developers to build decentralized applications on the Algorand blockchain. She will also share how to get involved with the Algorand community and show us a demo. Prior to joining Algorand, Liz was a Product Manager on the Amazon Alexa Machine Learning team where she built out the first non-English language data teams that helped power Alexa’s initial launches into non-US markets; later she led a team that developed new techniques to generate multilingual data that improves machine learning algorithms for international launches. Liz has a Bachelor’s in Chinese from Georgetown University and received her Masters in Computational Linguistics from Brandeis University.
