WordPress 4.9 Recap and 5.0 Preview
Since WordPress 4.9 was just recently released, I'll highlight some of its features. I'll also try to give a quick glimpse at what we can expect 2018 with WordPress 5.0. You might have heard that there's a new kid on the block called Gutenberg … I'll show you what Gutenberg is and what it means for the future of WordPress.
Progressive Web Apps: the next big thing?
EN: Progressive Web Apps (PWA) extend websites with functionality usually known from native mobile apps. They close a gap between the open web and all the app stores out there. With increased browser support now's the time to have a closer look at that technology and to discuss its possibilities within WordPress after Nicos' introduction.
