Alles ansehen- My Role is Changing. Who Am I? With Marcus De Vale + Gemma HonourLink für Teilnehmer sichtbar
We are super excited to bring you this new 90 minute free workshop in partnership with the wonderful people at WorkVisible Studios and Bryter Work.
My Role is Changing. Who Am I?
Often, our job role is intrinsically linked to how we define ourselves, how we see our future, and the trajectory our career will take. But what happens when our role changes? How does this shift shape our identity and what value we bring to the world?
Change agents, teams and managers alike are navigating unprecedented changes, meaning many of us have to change teams, roles or even our careers. This change comes from many different market pressures, including organisational restructures, mergers and acquisitions and evolution of tech adoption (AI, Agile etc). Leading to the emergence of multidisciplinary roles, increased responsibility and pressure and even the risks of burnout and unemployment.
In this 90 minute workshop, Gemma Honour (Bryter Work Co-Founder + Graphic Recorder) and Marcus de Vale (WorkVisible Studios Director + Visual Facilitator) we'll explore how visualisation can help map out our futures and create identities that serve our purpose, transcending the limitations of our roles. Examining how we can use this as a force for good rather than a source of fear. We will also speak to the intersection between team and individual identities and how we can support each other through times of change.
Outcomes:
- Explore personal identity and how it relates to your role
- Use visualisation to map possible futures
- Identify which strengths and areas to build upon
- Reflect on the session and key takeaways

ABOUT THIS COURSE
Learn with Craig Larman, co-creator of LeSS, in this 3-day, highly-participative course. Participants explore a deep understanding of LeSS, Large-Scale Scrum, for lean & agile development with many teams working together on one product. We explore adoption, new organizational design, systems thinking & optimization, the role of management, and concretely how to work together in a Sprint at scale in terms of coordination, architecture, planning, and more.
(Course runs until 17:30 on all 3 days, including day 3; for certification, full attendance is required)Critically, we explore the Big Idea of more with LeSS: simplifying & descaling over “scaling”, or… scaling product development by descaling the organization.
Perhaps most importantly and interestingly, this course runs mostly as a series of “at giant whiteboards” deep-thinking exercises involving systems modelling in small teams to explore why, so that people can own the ideas by discovering them for themselves, rather than “renting” the ideas. A focus on why and owning not renting are important elements of LeSS and how it’s learned, and Craig emphasizes this in the course learning experience.
Join Larman for a deep dive into more with LeSS, based on his long experience with LeSS adoptions.
In addition to course material, each participant will also receive 3 books on LeSS:- Large-Scale Scrum: More with LeSS
- Practices for Scaling Lean & Agile Development: Large, Multisite & Offshore Development with LeSS
- Scaling Lean & Agile Development: Thinking and Organizational Tools for LeSS
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE:
After successful course completion (attending full-time, etc)…
- (free) digital versions of the first, second, and third LeSS books
- more LeSS learning (videos, etc)
- the course handout PDF and photos of everything created within the course that was on the walls
- contacts of all course participants
- a course certificate
You will also:
- gain valuable insights into organizational design and lean
- immersive learning using deep-thinking exercises and system modelling to explore ideas
- understand how to scale product development by descaling the organization

An understanding of Agile and Scrum.
