From Idea to Implementation: Developing an AI-Powered Meeting Minutes Tool

For our first talk after the summer break we want to explore what you actually can do with AI in your applications and how difficult it is to get results.
As usual, our speaker will be available for questions afterwards while we have Pizza. Ideally on the sunroof, if the weather allows it.

We will dive into the technical aspects of Meminto, an AI-based open-source tool that automatically generates meeting minutes from audio recordings. We'll explore the use of state-of-the-art open-source AI tools such as 'pyannote.audio' for speaker diarization and 'Whisper' for speech-to-text conversion. By focusing on the engineering process, the talk aims to inspire and empower developers to build their own AI-powered tools.
