#### Session 1: Human Emotions at Scale

LLMs are very effective at extracting the emotional tone from text, voice and image. However, there is little agreement on how to handle such data, and even less on what it even means. In his talk Stefan Dirnstorfer introduces the concept of a psychological embedding and shares some experiences on how to extract and aggregate emotions data. He will show his own invention to visualise results from literature, politics and algorithmic output. Stefan Dirnstorfer is CTO at https://testup.io. He visualises emotions with his research project at https://paramoji.org Paramoji A parametric emoji that can be parameterized with five continuous dimensions. It visualizes and unifies dimensional and categorical emotional models.
