Spotlight Talk #1: Three Ways to Cook an Angular App al dente
Presented by Christoph Guttandin

In his talk, Christoph explains the three main ways to deliver an Angular app. Whether you serve your app as usual to be rendered on the client or you go with server side rendering or you do the rendering upfront and serve your app prerendered, each approach has pros and cons.

After this talk you can hopefully make an informed decision on how to serve your next Angular app. And in case you choose prerendering, you will also learn about a handy tool, angular-prerender, which helps you with that.

Last but not least, you will be introduced to the similarities of Angular and pasta.

Christoph is a freelance web developer specialized in multimedia web applications. He has recently worked on streaming solutions and interactive music applications for clients like TV stations, streaming services, synthesizer vendors, and artists.

Spotlight Talk #2: The Benefits of a Design System: How Storybook can Improve your Daily Work
Presented by Kai Röder

Component driven frameworks are all over the place. But how can we manage components in a maintainable and transparent way without losing track? At the end of this talk you should know more about isolated component development, design systems and Storybook itself.

Kai works as a lead developer at AEB with a focus on the company's Angular client framework. In October 2018, he joined the Storybook team as an open source maintainer.

If you have not yet filled out our member survey, please take the time to do so, so we can adjust the coming meetups to your expectations: https://goo.gl/PVXBK1
