Austrian School of Economics Salon

Zweck dieses Meetups ist der Austausch über die Österreichische Schule der Nationalökonomie.
Sie basiert unter anderem auf den Arbeiten der aus Wien stammenden Ökonomen Eugen Böhm-Bawerk, Carl Menger, Ludwig Mises, Friedrich August Hayek und Oskar Morgenstern; ihnen verdankt sie ihren Namen.
Insbesondere seit der Finanzkrise finden die Erklärungsansätze der Österreichischen Schule wieder zunehmende Aufmerksamkeit, vor allem in den USA, wo sich ihre Anhänger schlicht "Austrians" nennen.
Höchste Zeit also, dass diese Tradition auch in der Stadt wiederauflebt, von der sie ihren Ausgang nahm.

      This meetup is about the so called Austrian School of Economis.
      It´s based on the work and ideas of Economists like Eugen Böhm-Bawerk, Carl Menger, Ludwig Mises, Friedrich August Hayek; und Oskar Morgenstern, who initially came from Austria and gave the name to this framework of human action in society.
      Today the centre of the Austrian School is in the US, where their supporter call themselves "Austrians".
      So it´s about time that this tradition came back to the city where it originated.
