About the Talk: Are you struggling to effectively measure and communicate the impact of quality on your organization's business outcomes?

In this talk, we'll be discussing the challenges of effectively measuring and communicating the impact of quality on business outcomes, and how to bridge the gap between bug counting and understanding the broader value that quality brings to an organization.

As someone who has faced this challenge in multiple experiences as head of engineering, I'll be sharing practical advice and best practices to help you navigate the complexities of quality metrics and reporting.

We'll explore how to extend and communicate the importance of quality impacts on customer retention, as well as delve into the widely-used DORA metrics and how to align them with organizational objectives such as OKRs and KPIs.

We'll also discuss strategies for choosing metrics targets while scaling an organization, and we'll explore how to target reliable metrics through absolute versus relative metrics.

About the Speaker:
Farah Chabchoub is an experienced engineering leader and advisor, with a focus on driving excellence in quality strategy and division. She holds a master's degree in image processing and machine learning from the reputable University of Pierre et Marie Curie.

Throughout her career, Farah has led engineering and operation divisions in startups, scale-ups, and hyper-growth environments. She started her journey as a quality engineer at Dassault Systems and later joined Leetchi in 2017, where she was responsible for building the testing, escalation, and observability division.

From 2019 to 2021, Farah was a key member of the operational committee of one of Europe's most successful fintech companies. During this time, she played a critical role in driving reliable growth and gained a keen focus on product excellence, business risk, and productivity.

In 2022, Farah joined Ankorstore as Head of Quality Engineering, where she demonstrated her ability to build and organize divisions from scratch, driving a culture of world-class engineering and talent. She also founded "Build Quality," a newsletter providing insights and guidance on quality strategy and division.
Farah is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, co-founding an executive female network called "Women of Influence" to promote the advancement of women in leadership positions. As an international speaker, she shares her expertise in problem-solving and continuous improvement approaches with product and technical communities worldwide.

Since 2021, Farah has been advising executives, bringing her wealth of knowledge and experience to drive a culture of building reliable operations excellence and innovation in every aspect of her work.
