From Fragmented Infra to Golden Path: An Internal Developer Platform on EKS

Every team wanted to ship faster, but each was reinventing the same wheels: clusters, pipelines, infrastructure, access. So we built an internal developer platform on Amazon EKS — one golden path that lets product teams go from idea to running service without becoming Kubernetes experts. This is the honest story of that journey. We'll show how we used EKS as the foundation, Crossplane to provision cloud infrastructure through Kubernetes APIs, and Argo CD to drive everything through GitOps. We'll walk through the challenges that nearly derailed us and share what actually moved the needle.
