Fat Bears and Boardgames

In honour of Fat Bear week (September 23-30) we are channelling the spirit of our rotund ursine friends by getting together in the warm and eating, drinking, and playing some board games. Let's embrace the spirit of our mammalian friends and see our way into the cold season feeling cosy.

Please bring CASH to pay for your food and drinks with. Bears don't take cards.

How does it work: We meet at 19:00, in the back room of Firebowl bowling alley (where it's warm). Our big, cuddly boardgame-bears bring along a selection of board and card games for people to play. We're also very happy if you want to bring one of your own games! We have wide variety, from fun, casual party games, to heavy duty medieval agriculture simulators.

We're there to help explain rules and set people up with new games (usually 7 - 7:30pm), so don't worry if you're a newbie. After that, we'll still be around, but probably foraging for salmon and honey. Our member-bears are a lovely bunch, and very welcoming.
