'All the world's a boardgame, and all the men and women merely players', and following on that theme this Friday we will be 'treading the boards' (it means acting, dahling!), after donning our support corsets and reaching for the greasepaint, to provide our eager audience with another sell out* production of 'Heidelberg: Beer and Boardgames', We haven't learned our lines! We haven't rehearsed! Half of us are drunk! It'll be fun!

Please bring CASH to pay for your food and drinks with because .... damn .... forgot my lines .... PROMPT!

How does it work: Act One begins at 19:00, and sees our merry players in the back room of Firebowl bowling alley, bearing a selection of board and card games for people to play. We're also very happy if you want to bring one of your own games! We have wide variety, from fun, casual party games, to heavy duty medieval agriculture simulators. We're there to help explain rules and set people up with new games (around 19:00 - 19:30), so don't worry if you're a newbie.

Act Two starts at around 19:30, when the organisers will still be there, but getting down to the serious business of drinking and playing some ridiculous game with, like, a million counters and a map of the train network of Middle Earth. You can still come and ask us things, as long as they're things like 'Can I have your autograph?', and 'What makes you such a versatile artist'? Our members are a lovely, friendly bunch, and considerably less pompous than our organisation team.
