Scorchio! and Boardgames

Blimey, it ain't half hot mum! After a week where we've all turned into lizards, languidly lying on hot rocks, licking our own eyeballs, it's time to cool down, with a frosty Friday evening of ice-cold board games and chilled company. The games have been in the fridge all week, so we can enjoy them in the gentle evening air of the Firebowl's beer garden, so come along and lick somebody else's eyeball* for a change.

Please bring CASH to pay for your food and drinks with. Cash is cool. Cards are not.

How does it work: Turn up at 7pm. The (somewhat sweaty) organisers bring along a selection of board and card games for people to play. We're also very happy if you want to bring one of your own games! We have wide variety, from fun, casual party games, to some good, heavy duty nerdy ones.

We're there to help explain rules and set people up with new games (usually 7 - 7:30pm), so don't worry if you're a newbie, although we may be even slower-moving this week After that, we'll still be around, but probably playing something ourselves. Our regulars are a lovely bunch, and very welcoming.
