Rimbaud’s famous line evokes a question to the belief in a single, determined “self”. Rather, it is an acknowledgement of the fluid self that includes an inner self that is undefined and mysterious.

My Other Sidesis a 4-day Retreat to develop (a better) awareness of your erotic personas, how to express them and how embracing the attributes of them in saf(er), experimental space brings freedom x fun x creativity to life. Together, we will drop away from daily surroundings, and gently land into ourselves to meet our eroticism through the body x dance x creativity.

In this retreat, we will enter into an immersive, judgment-free and curious process to meet these rich, shape shifting array of erotic personas, and their unique, delicious language of expression. As we learn about these Other Sides, we’ll also explore how to express them and how to receive others. We’ll establish boundaries and safety from the very start, and, we’ll learn to let the thinking mind rest as we discover that this mysterious inner self is vastly empowering, and may even offer tools to daily life.

All CLOSER workshops invite us into our sense of aliveness by offering permission to the erotic life force energy that nourishes our unique way of being in this world. Rather than relegating the erotic to a compartment of life or dumbing it down to the sexual, we allow it to breath creativity, openness, integrity and vulnerability.

A creative, somatic and sensual journey, we will explore:

• How may I open up the portal to these Other Sides of me?
• How may I give them form within an experimental and safe(r) space?
• Could these Other Sides offer me a new way of relating to myself? To others? To my desires and expression?
• What forms of expression emerge when “identify” is allowed to bend – to play and create?

While physical nudity is invited, it is never required or expected. We respect all boundaries and support every body throughout the retreat.
