Welcome!
This Jungian discussion group offers a small, personal space to foster deep thought and genuine connections among regulars.
As a Jungian musician, I’m excited to start a new Meetup series: monthly Vorspiele—short concerts (30–60 minutes), occasionally followed by relaxed conversations over drinks or dinner. Please check the specific event details below (or in the comments) for time and location.

Music and psychology share much in common: both engage with the unconscious, listening, finding form and meaning in chaos, and differentiating between outer and inner voices. I hope these evenings create a space where the unconscious is welcome—and where your creative sparks can breathe.
I look forward to sharing my work and heart with you. 🤍🖤 🎶🎵

Meet at the Studio -

Marie-Louise von Franz once had an objective dream of her father, who appeared to her after his death. He had played violin in life but never pursued his talent seriously. In the dream, he said he was now studying at the Music Academy in Vienna to nurture his gift. When asked if he was happy, he paused to recall what “you living people” call happiness—but eventually said yes.

MLvF:
“People very often cut off certain gifts. They may have a gift for music, but since their creativity means hard work, they decide, ‘My musicality is not significant enough to develop. I'm giving up playing the piano because it will never lead anywhere.’ And with that decision, they cut it off. But there is something in that person which wants to express itself in music, and that split-off energy becomes a vampire.”
