​What is Value Stream Mapping?

​Value Stream Mapping (VSM) is a lean methodology that visualizes and analyzes workflows to identify inefficiencies, delays, and waste. It maps the flow of information and materials, enabling teams to optimize processes and enhance customer value. ​About Miguel Dias (Product Management Leader and Digital Strategist):
​Miguel is a Software Engineer with over five years of experience, building and scaling systems for large companies, startups, and a nonprofit. Miguel spent 2024 leading multiple Value Stream Mapping initiatives at Relex, a global SaaS company, involving individual teams, multiple teams, and an entire department. He’s helped teams onboard customers faster, prevent service disruptions, deliver value more often, and waste less time day-to-day. A thought leader in the Value Stream Mapping and DevOps space, actively engaged with the international community, Miguel is currently launching his own consultancy in Berlin.
