Strausberg Forest Hike + Vegan Lunch by the Lake

Join us for a refreshing summer hike through the lush forests of Strausberg, with a relaxing stop at a quiet lakeside spot near Stienitzsee — perfect for resting, eating, and reconnecting with nature.

Meeting Point: Strausberg S-Bahn Station (🚉 not Strausberg Stadt!)
Time: 11:00 AM sharp
S5 arrives at 10:53 AM, RB26 at 10:56 AM
* Distance: ~11 km (about 5.5 km each way)
* Difficulty: Easy to moderate
* Total duration: ~4-5 hours (including lunch break)

We’ll walk around 1.5-2 hours through woodland trails to reach the lake, where we’ll take a one-hour break for lunch. The return walk will also be about 1.5-2 hours, making the total time approximately 4-5 hours. The lake spot is right by the water but not at the official “Strand” — swimming is allowed but not guaranteed to be ideal from that location.

🌱 Quick reminder: this is a vegan-friendly event. Please bring only plant-based food and drinks — especially since food might be shared.
Optional: After lunch, anyone interested in a proper swim can continue 2 km further to the official Badestrand Stienitzsee. The rest of us will start the walk back toward Strausberg station.
