In this course we learn about the medium, materials and techniques of watercolour painting. You will have the opportunity to experiment and play with materials and paint your own artwork. You will leave the course equipped with the skills and knowledge to continue your watercolour painting journey.
WEEK I. Intro to watercolour.
Materials, techniques and colour theory. Preping surface and stretching paper. Start a watercolour painting from a still life
WEEK II. Put into practice what we have learnt painting from a still life / chosen image
WEEK III. Painting on a botanical reference
WEEK IV. Painting a landscape
