# Adrian Sieber: Introduction to PureScript

PureScript is a strongly-typed, pure functional programming language that compiles to JavaScript. In comparison to Haskell it's supposed to improve the language itself (most notably records) and make it easily usable in the browser.

Adrian Sieber is the CEO of the Feram GmbH, which develops a solution to automatically detect bugs in various programming languages. Previously he studied IT Systems Engineering at the Hasso Plattner Institute.
