Alekhya Narravula, MSc, MS, CGC, will share her extensive knowledge of DNA testing, the differences between direct-to-consumer (DTC) tests and clinical genetic tests, and what they can and cannot tell you. This event is an excellent opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of how genetic testing can influence decisions about your health.

About the speaker
Alekhya Narravula, MSc, MS, CGC, is a certified genetic counselor with over 15 years of experience, she has worked in various capacities across the USA, UK, India, and the EMEA region, supporting and educating patients and healthcare professionals.

She is the founder of GeneLinx. GeneLinx’s mission is to empower individuals to utilize their genomic information for informed health decisions. The aim is not to test everyone but instead to guide people through their genetic journey, helping them understand if genetic testing is right for them, what it entails, its risks and benefits, and how it can be used clinically to improve their own individual and family health.

Alekhya also serves on the European Board of Medical Genetics, where she works to set standards for training and registering genetic counselors in Europe, raising awareness, and seeking greater recognition for the profession of genetic counseling in the EU.
