Graphs from biological systems to clinical outcomes - Adam Amara, TuringDB.ai
Details
Graphs from biological systems to clinical outcomes using multimodal data & knowledge
Please join us in welcoming Adam Amara, cofounder & CEO at Turing Biosystems. Adam Amara started his research journey on network based modelling & multiomics integration on metabolic networks for microbiome bacteria during his PhD at the University of Manchester. Then became a Postdoctoral research fellow at the International Agency for Research on Cancer- World Health Organization (IARC-WHO), where he built multilayer networks to integrate mutiomics & clinical data with knowledge graphs from prospective clinical cohorts.
Turing Biosystems built a high performance in-memory graph database engine TuringDB.ai that allows to build and analyse large graphs. TuringDB is used to analyse & traverse very large biomedical knowledge graphs, integrate data to build & simulate digital twins, allows knowledge & connected data to interact with modern AI systems (e.g. LLM, GNNs, causalAI, agentic AI).
