Welcome to the Bitcoin Socratic Seminar hosted by BitDevs Berlin at c-base Raumstation Berlin! There will be Pizza and Beer sponsored by Ordimint.com. We decided to keep this event offline/in person only and not continuing to use the Jitsi anymore.
This is a monthly event. Our aim is to foster lively discussions, information sharing, and debates. In the 4 weeks before the event, our members gather new discussion topics from various sources, including pull requests in popular git repositories such as Bitcoin Core, LND, Core Lightning, LDK, Joinmarket, Elements Alpha, and Electrum, as well as research papers, technical blog posts, IRC logs, network monitors, and more.
During the meeting, members present open source projects, companies, research, and other relevant materials. You will be able to find all the links we discuss at https://bitdevs.berlin about 1-2 days before the event so you can come prepared for the discussions!

Wie in jedem Jahr versammelt sich die Bitcoin-Community in Berlin, um den legendären "Pizza Day" zu feiern.
Die Transaktion von Laszlo Hanyecz gilt als erste offizielle Transaktion zum Tausch von Bitcoin gegen Güter. In diesem Fall: 10.000 Bitcoin im Austausch gegen zwei große Pizzen.
Um diesen bedeutenden Tag zu feiern treffen wir uns dieses Jahr in der Trattoria Felice. Bitcoin-Zahlungen via Lightning werden auch hier akzeptiert.
Wir freuen uns über viele Teilnehmer. Da die Plätze begrenzt sind, bitten wir um verbindliche Zusagen. Vielen Dank.

As every year, the Bitcoin community gathers in Berlin to celebrate the legendary ‘Pizza Day’.
Laszlo Hanyecz's transaction is considered the first official transaction to exchange Bitcoin for goods. In this case: 10,000 Bitcoin in exchange for two large pizzas.
To celebrate this important day, we are meeting at Trattoria Felice this year. Bitcoin payments via Lightning will also be accepted here.
