TARO - BITCOINIZING THE US-DOLLAR

Taro is a new Taproot-powered protocol for issuing assets on the bitcoin blockchain that can be transferred over the Lightning Network for instant, high volume, low fee transactions. At its core, Taro taps into the security and stability of the bitcoin network and the speed, capability, and low fees of Lightning.

Oliver Gugger is Senior Lightning Infrastructure Engineering with Lightning Labs. He previously worked as a software engineer for a Swiss bank before he discovered Bitcoin and Lightning and started contributing to LND and related projects.

Oliver will give us insights into this exciting development of Bitcoin's 3rd layer technology.

The lecture is aimed at developers and those interested in technology.
