Zcash: Privacy on the Blockchain (Paige Peterson)

Zcash (https://z.cash/) is an open cryptocurrency focused on bringing privacy and confidentiality to our global ecosystem. This talk will give an overview of the Zcash system, the features offered by the protocol for users and developers and the current state of the network. While Zcash is still in the early stages, the core team at Zerocoin Electric Coin Company and the greater community is hard at work improving the system and its usability. Anyone curious about the Zcash system are encouraged to bring questions they have and ideas for further growth of privacy in finance and beyond.

BOScoin (https://www.boscoin.io/) is a new Korea-based public blockchain project, which aims to revolutionize the blockchain industry with

• Trust Contracts: completely redesigned contracts on the blockchain, through the combination of the semantic language OWL and TAL that will support human readable contracts and pre-auditability

• Congressional Governance System: an embedded decision-making process where 1 node has 1 vote

• Applications: pre-made apps that utilize BOScoin as a currency

Our meetup will take at Mindspace on the 7th floor. The Mindspace entrance is on Mohrenstrasse 50.
