Trace and log data modifications with the "Lumberjack"

The lumberjack package that provides a pipe operator %>>% that is similar to the well known %>% operator used with dplyr. Data modifications with chained function calls are the same, but lumberjack also tracks and logs data changes that occur in the chained function calls.

What will the future of R look like? Will it be replaced by another language?
This presentation and video will introduce an initiative to integrate multiple languages into a new open source data science platform. Companies and individuals like RStudio, Wes McKinney, Hadley Wickham initiated and support this initiative.

In general the regular meetups take place every second Tuesday of a month.
We will meet in locations in and around Heidelberg and Mannheim, preferably near the train station.

The meetup will start with one or more very short presentations, most of the time.
